Who is Geoffrey Boot?

Geoffrey G Boot known locally as Baron Boot was a former Conservative Sandgate Parish Councillor and district Councillor, who tried to make Sandgate into a Town, but ran into a few obstacles – namely the people of Sandgate who rejected the idea.

Well Geoffrey Boot is according to his own LinkedIn page the Managing Director of MF & L Ltd which is based in the Isle of Man.

In July 15 David Cameron addressed the issue of offshore ownership  on a trip to the Far East in July. “There is no place in Britain for dirty money,” he said, promising to publish details of the property titles held by offshore companies.

If the benefits of offshore companies for holding UK property are ever to be fully withdrawn, some wealthy Tory donors will have to be upset in the process such as Minister Boot.
