Cllr Lesley Whybrow, Cabinet member for the Environment at Folkestone & Hythe District Council has confirmed that Sunningdale House Developments Ltd (SHDL) do NOT have a contract with the council at this moment.
We can also confirm that the above statement is 100% true through other sources.
However, that said SHDL, set up a company two days after we announced that they “had acquired the land” on the 25 June 2022.
The name of the company is
Sunningdale House Developments (PP Hythe) Ltd
So, do the Council have a contract with them rather than Sunningdale House Developments Ltd? This now needs answering urgently.
The person of significant control of the PP Hythe company above is: Sunningdale House Developments Limited.
The council would be insane in our honest opinion to go with SHDL given their precarious financial situation. But given all the contractual and financial irregularities, and suspensions at the council, we suspect that won’t stop either party driving the madness forward to cover Princes Parade with concrete.
