Folkestone Harbour Development goes back out for reconsultation
Perchance you have not heard, the controversial Folkestone Harbour Planning Application 24/0505/FH, which is a reserved matters application for Phases 5 and 6 (comprising of Plots F1, F2, G1, G2 and H) has gone out for re-consultation

The re-consultation letter states:
Should you wish to make any comments I would be pleased to receive them, in writing, to the address below, by email to planning@folkestone-hythe.gov.uk or online at Public Register Link by 27 November 2024.
Failure to respond to the above date may jeopardise the chances of your comments being considered in determining this application. The Council is obliged to make any letters/emails of representation on planning related applications available to the public and your name and comments will be viewable online.
One notes that more than 100 documents were uploaded on the Council’s planning portal on the 4 Nov 2024.
A very brief summary
A Health Impact Assessment has been undertaken, as per the requirement within the Local Plan. There have been design changes – which can be seen in the amended Design Statement
The design changes have resulted in the reduction of height in two buildings G5 and G8, on Plot G. However G1,G4, G7, H2, F2/3 have increased in height.

All in all, eight documents have been superseded. These can be found in the Planning Statement – Addendum

If you wish to comment you have until the 27 Nov, but we’re sure the Council will take comments into account past this date, as they have done previously.
