FOI Workshop 09/11/15
Since 2005, the Freedom of Information Act has brought to light countless public organisations across Kent and what they have done in your name and with your money. Now that right to is being threatened.
FoIA requests generate more than 200 stories every month in newspapers in the UK. Transparency legislation has brought about significant changes to both policy and public opinion.
On the 09/11/15, Sid Ryan of The Centre for Investigative Journalism see: http://tcij.org/content/sid-ryan , will be running a 3 hour course on Information Law Access [FOI’s] at the Methodist Hall Sandgate Road Folkestone, between 1pm and 4pm.
