On the 14th May 2013 a planning application was submitted to develop Eversley College, Coolinge Lane Folkestone – ref Y13/0175/SH (page 67 onwards) to SDC (now Folkestone & Hythe District Council).
The site was purchased on 7 June 2012 for £1,350,000 according to the land registry by Landcap Development Eversley Limited (Landcap).
The Registered Owners/Directors of Landcap Development Eversley Ltd are: Mr Faris Michael McKinnon (pictured) and Mr Rakan McKinnon
The site was developed out by Quinn Wilson Estates who converted the period redundant boarding school into a development of 23 apartments and 2 cottages set within a gated and landscaped setting close to Sandgate Primary School.
On 14 May 2013 Planning Permission was granted by SDC. At this time the Folkestone and Hythe Conservative Association had a debt of £13,912. This would climb to
Landcap paid a £3000 donation to the Folkestone & Hythe Conservative Association on the 9/04/15.
Four companies were involved in developing Eversley Park they were:
Quinn Wilson Estates Ltd,
Landcap Development Eversley Limited,
Pentland Homes Limited
Eversley Park Management (Sandgate) Limited.
The Last Company – Eversley Park Management (Sandgate) Limited. has a Director which also sits on the main company Landcap Development Eversley Limited – that being Mr Rakan McKinnon
What Do we Know about Quinn Wilson Estates Ltd?
We know they are Quinn Wilson Estates Limited are based near Canterbury and gave £9,000 to Folkestone and Hythe Conservatives on 20 May 2015 almost two years after SDC gave permission in the Chamber. So between Lancap and Quinn Wilson Estates the local Folkestone & Hythe Conservative Association had its debts almost wiped out.
The Directors of Quinn Wilson Estates at the time were Mark Quinn & James Pace, according to Companies House.
