We know that SDC set up a Collaboration board after they entered into an initial collaboration agreement with sdc-cozumel-estates-ltd-and-investors-in-private-capital-ltd (pg 3) on the 8/09/12.
The board meet on a monthly basis according to a representative at the Hythe Town Hall Otterpool Park Consultation which took place on the 08/12/16.
So who are the people who sit on this board.
Jeremy Chambers (pictured) Corporate Director SDC – Strategic Operations Experienced chief officer in local government. Passionate about high quality efficient local services. Who according to his Linkedin page, will shortly be looking for his next career move – a local authority chief executive.
Member of Corporate Management Team and deputy for the Chief Executive.
Lead officer for the promotion and development of Otterpool Park Garden Town – a new garden settlement of up to 12,000 dwellings.
Pat Main – SDC Interim Head of Finance (Deputy S151 Officer) who joined SDC in May 2016 – Present (9 months)Folkestone, United Kingdom. Pat is an experienced Chief Finance Officer whose career has focused on defining and implementing strategy to ensure sustainable support for £multi-million financial plans across large public sector organisations. She is known for her ability to work with senior management and politicians to optimise the financial resources and income flows that underpin the achievement of corporate objectives, often during periods of challenging funding constraints. She has extensive experience of leading major finance transformation programmes to improve efficiency and increase the quality of service delivery whilst optimising the allocation of resources and ensuring that corporate responsibilities are fulfilled. She is committed to delivering excellence in public sector finance management and contributing to effective governance in public organisations.
Julia Wallace – SDC Project Manager, masterplanning & design ( a former employee of ATLAS who have given advice and guidance to SDC regarding Otterpool) Julia is an experienced planner and urban designer, with a breadth and depth of experience gained from seven years as a planning manager the with Advisory Team for Large Applications (ATLAS). She provided delivery-focused planning, environmental and technical advice to local authorities and their partners dealing with large-scale and complex developments. She uses her communication and negotiation skills to get the best quality development outcome.
Julia is a trained mediator, and has led on a range of innovative approaches to community engagement for major regeneration and housing growth.
Stephen Higgins (pictured): Arena Racing Corporation Group Racing & Property Developer: Experienced and accomplished Commercial PLC Managing Director with strong leadership skills, proven excellence in a complex stakeholder commercial environment and extensive knowledge of the racing, leisure and property development.
Excellent strategic vision and a comprehensive track record of developing and implementing core elements of a business, delivering increased profits and improved customer experience in a range of commercial environments.
