Thirty five years ago Princes Parade was in the Folkestone & Hythe District Herald newspaper not once but twice. On the 17th Feb 1984 the Herald ran the following article:

Do you mean after May 2019 or Theresa May. The significance of your comment, if some are unaware, is the local District election. Let’s all hope that the parasitic Councillors that support the desecration of our open spaces get their just desserts.
With someone with a young family, I hope the Council actually gets a move on and grants this approval. We need to be forward looking and allow this to go ahead rather than listen to the NIMBYs!

Is it the lack of planning officers at the Council which is possibly holding up the planning application!!!!
So February at the earliest before any application will now be heard , can it be pushed back until after May 2019? Here’s hoping.
