East Kent Hospital Charity Appeal: Helping Your Hospitals

5_William-Harvey-Hospital

We are receiving many reports from patients who have attended the William Harvey Hospital – Ashford that the Stroke unit was under consideration for closure to be turned into a Covid-19 unit; which is a positive move as they are preparing for more infected patients to come.

We know Patients are being sent to the Kent & Canterbury for Stroke issues.

We also understand that patients who attended the Cancer outpatient unit at the William Harvey Hospital this week witnessed staff without any protective equipment.

We also have heard of thefts of hand santiser gels from the corridors of the hospital; and toilet rolls. It is suspected that members of the public have done this. Please stop, the NHS needs this.

It is known that East Kent Hospitals Charity are appealing for donations to support our NHS heroes. Donations will provide for wellbeing of staff through this difficult time and provide vital equipment. To support your East Kent Hospitals staff when they need it most, please donate.
