Otterpool Team to give briefing on the updated Planning Application
How many times does it take for you to listen to somebody who informs you, they don’t want it, or they object to what your offering?
The Otterpool Park site is where the Council, via it’s sole ownership of the company Otterpool Park LLP, wish to build 6,375 homes by 2036/37 with potential for future growth to provide a total of 8,000 – 10,000 homes by 2050.
Many Parish Councils surrounding the site have objected to Otterpool. To date it is known that eight of them have objected. KCC have objected on the basis of Public Rights of Way across the site, but this is only a holding objection, as opposed to an outright objection. The Parish Councils who have objected are:
Bilsington
Brabourne
Burmarsh
Hythe
KCC Holding Objection
Lympne
Saltwood
Stanford
Stowting
Regardless of these eight Parish Councils objecting to Otterpool, the Council under the leadership of Cllr David Monk, pushes ahead. He and the council are hearing what is being said, but not listening to what is being said.

Did they not turn up ?
