Otterpool Park Update: Consultation opens on new information submitted
Further information relating to the Otterpool Park outline planning application – Y19/0257/FH – has been submitted.
Otterpool Park, a 756 hectare site, is where Folkestone & Hythe District Council wish Otterpool Park LLP, as its master developer, to build up to 10,000 homes up to the 2040’s.
This further information is now open to consultation
The documents are available for residents to view on the council website
A statutory public consultation period will run until 4pm on Thursday 16 March 2023. Those wishing to comment can do so via the planning portal or via email to otterpool.applications@folkestone-hythe.gov.uk
A paper copy of the updated application can be viewed by appointment at the Civic Centre in Folkestone. Please call customer services on 01303 853000 for details.
This application is not unexpected as Dave Shore, an officer who works for the LLP, mentioned it at a Joint Parish Committee meeting late last year
The timescales Mr Shore mentions haven’t been met, and that is due to the scale and size of the application.
If you have something to say about Otterpool, for or against, then you can comment via Folkestone & Hythe District Council’s planning portal
