Leas Pavilion and the connection to offshore companies

Now that Oliver Daelemans company Gustavia Ltd has parted ways with Leas Pavilion Development Ltd –  who own the site, who then is behind Leas Pavilion Development Ltd?

According to Companies House, it is Mylecke NV based in Belgium who now hold the fate of the development of the Leas Pavilion in their hands.

But who are Mylecke NV.

There are three directors in Mylecke NV. They are:

Hendrik Danneels

Stephanie Danneels

Marie Danneels

Hendrik Danneels (pictured) is named in the Paradise Papers, released to the world by the ICIJ. The name of the company he is a Director of is Belmor Limited, based in Malta.

Malta is well known for providing various offshore financial goods and services that appeal to businesses and people for various reasons.

We cannot forget that the Leas Pavilion Development Ltd has borrowed money from an offshore lender based in Luxembourg; which we reported on in July 2022. Now we discover one of the directors is based offshore in Malta.

Let’s hope that Mylecke NV either complete the building, or sell it, as nobody wants the site to sit there and rot.

There are legitimate uses for offshore companies and trusts. The inclusion of a person or entity in this blog post is not intended to suggest or imply that they have engaged in illegal or improper conduct.
