Otterpool Park: Public Consultation Wastewater Treatement Works to be held on 3 December
Otterpool Park LLP (owned by FHDC) will be holding a public consultation on plans to deliver a Wastewater Treatment Works, associated Wetlands and Primary Sub Station at Otterpool Park, in preparation for the submission of a planning application.

This will take place on Tuesday 3 December 2024, between 15:30 and 20:00, at Sellindge Village Hall, Main Road, Sellindge TN25 6JY
The wastewater works must be built first before any works can begin at Otterpool, where Otterpool Park LLP; and any potential joint venture partner/s, wish to build up to 10,000 homes.
At the full council held on the 27 Nov 24, Cllr Jim Martin, Leader of the Council, announced the Collaboration Agreement with Homes England, which we mentioned four days ago, but he failed to mention that Homes England will also hand over £1.6m as this is what they owe the Council. He did though mention this to Parish Cllrs at Stanford Parish Council at their last meeting. So how did it escape his memory? Surely District Cllrs have a right to know that our council are receiving £1.6m from Homes England.
Finally, Cllr Jim Martin mentioned water credits which would be created by the proposed wastewater works treatment works, creating the potential to loan these water credits to Canterbury and Ashford, due to the stodmarsh nutrient issue.

We have enough new builds in the Sellindge area already.Abandon Otterpool now and save our countryside .We need good agricultural land as well as houses so keep it as green fields and it’s in an area of AONB.So worth protecting.The roads in this area are already congested and the Doctors are oversubscribed with our another 10,000 houses adding to the problems.
@Colin
Sadly not in the AONB:

The previous article says Homes England owe the Council £1.6m now you say the Council owe Homes England £1.6m. Confused?
Apologies rectified
