It would appear that the Otterpool Park development has now been given a planning application number. Y17/0183/SH received pre-planning application advice from Shepway District Council’s (SDC) planning department in August of this year, at a cost of £12,339.40 to the joint developers (SDC & Cozumel Estates Ltd BVI).
This information was supplied by SDC in an FoI Request to our public face and can be seen at line 37 of the spreadsheet.
The latest information from the Collaboration-Board-Notes November 17 add very little to what we already know.
As for the £281 million Forward Funding bid for Otterpool Park for physical infrastructure such as education, transport and utilities this is ranked as first priority by Kent County Council, who submitted the bid.
Cllr David Monk -our former Double Glazing Salesman, has thanked Kent County Council for their hard work on the Otterpool Park bid. He explained that Shepway District Council had been “strongly encouraged” by the DCLG and HCA to make the bid. If all goes according to plan, SDC & Cozumel Estates Ltd (BVI), the joint developers, will submit their planning application for Otterpool Park sometime in the Spring of 2018.
