4 NHS Trusts in Kent earn nearly £10 million from parking charges

Analysis of data published by NHS Digital in October shows that NHS trusts in Kent  have made nearly £10 million in 2017-18 from parking. This does not include penalty fines (PCN’s).

The four trusts who between them cover 13 sites, charged patients and visitors £6,917,990 to park in their car parks during 17/18 according to the latest NHS Digital data.

NHS Staff paid £2,800,628 collectively to park at their place of work.

Each NHS trust is responsible for these charges so if you find these charges excessive and deplorable, then we advise you to write to/lobby:
