This morning the Rt Hon Dominic Raab MP (pictured) and Former Brexit Secretary came to Folkestone. He had been invited by the local Conservative Party as part of the Back Boris campaign. Dominic Raab was a candidate in the Tory Leader election but was knocked out in the second round of the race for the leadership on the 18 June 2019. He now backs Boris. Dominic Raab has endorsed Boris Johnson’s campaign for Downing Street, saying he is the “only candidate” who will take the UK out of the EU on October 31. He arrived at Rocksalt to speak to the Tory rabble at about ten to ten this morning.
Mr Raab was greeted by a small rabble of Momentum members of the local Folkestone & Hythe Labour Party who were taking their message to Mr Raab in person.
