Kent leads the way housing Ukrainian Refugees

As of the 6th April, the wonderful people of Kent had more visas issued to house Ukrainian Refugees, than any other county, according to data released by the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC)

This is broken down still further by district, which currently shows that the people of Canterbury have opened their homes 54 times to offer housing and assistance to Ukrainian Refugees.

We thank all of you who have offered your homes and been awarded a visa to house these refugees. We thank all of you who made an effort to help in any way whatsoever.

It goes to show the people of Kent are truly wonderful people, reaching out to those in need. Long may it continue.
