Princes Parade Judicial Review Costs Rise by £10,500
On Valentine’s Day we informed you Folkestone & Hythe District Council had spent £24,126 on defending the Judicial Review regarding Princes Parade.
Yesterday the Council released their payment to supplier data for Jan 2020. It shows they have spent another £10,439 with their Soliticors Attwells – who are defending the Judicial Review for and on behalf of Folkestone & Hythe District Council – bringing the total to date to £34,565.
As we know, the closet Tory, Cllr Ray Field (pictured), supported the Tories and their allies in allowing the council’s £29 million pound Princes Parade budget to pass by ONE vote.
On 3 December 2019, the Save Princes Parade group were granted permission to proceed to the substantive hearing of the Judicial Review. The hearing will take place on 24th March 2020 at the Royal Courts of Justice in London.
