Shepway Green Party Flatter to Deceive
On the 12th June 2020, The Shepway Green Party stated on their website the following:
This statement is simply not true.
On the 13th June 2016, the Shepway Green Party via their website published an article making it clear they were opposed to the development.

As a Lympne Resident I clearly recall the Greens opposition to Otterpool when they were campaigning. Now they are in power, they have acquiesced and taken Monk’s shilling.
I believe only Labour are holding true to their opposition to Otterpool; and I’m certainly not a Labour voter, or supporter.
Shame on the Greens
I see in the rag run by Wimble; Mr Peter Day has said this off the Shepway Greens indirectly:
“Although mistakes can be rectified in due course, it does take a great deal of
time and money to rectify. And sadly this is true of Hythe High Street. It has been mooted, that the Controlling Group on the Local Council (Shepway Green Party) is to close the High Street in its entirety to motorised transport. This has been put on the Hythe Town Council agenda for discussion, and to suggest that the time closure is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Monday to Saturday. Is this another way of putting another nail in the “Hythe Street Coffin” and thereby closure by stealth”
I will not be voting for them again. Oh and who’s going to pay the £5K JR fees owed to the Council. It won’t be Cllr Lesley or Martin Whybrow I suspect.
The Shepway Green Party go into meetings behind closed doors, when they called for transparency prior to the May 2019 elections.
The Green Party Leader Cllr L Whybrow endorsed a JR over Princes Parade when she was on the Save Princes Parade committee. This cost the Council tens of thousands to defend.
They are backtracking on almost all the claims they made in their election promises.
And you’d think watching the Council video’s that Cllr Prater and Cllr L Whybrow were a love item the way they support each other.
When there is work to be done, one can hardly see Cllr Lesley Whybrow through the dust as she makes her escape.
